Books I Love 2010 - Winners!

Hey Guys!

So here are the winning books (and the 3 runner-ups) of Books I Love 2010! (and I apologise for the askew writing, I never can seem to figure out how to place everything on Blogger)

Best Book 2010

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins!

I know, it wasn't as good as the previous books, but it has been one of the most awaited books of this year, and I think as it's ending it deserves its recognition, so there it is!

Runner-ups:

1. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
2. Torment by Lauren Kate
3. White Cat by Holly Black

Best Heroine

Katniss Everdeen from Mockingjay!

I guess it's not such a surprise. Katniss is headstrong and stands up for what's right. Ever since she took her sister's place in the games, we've been rooting for her. She's found a place in all of out hearts.

Runner-ups:

1. Max in Fang: A Maximum Ride Novel
2. Tessa in Clockwork Angel
3. Nora in Crescendo

Best Hero

Will Herondale from Clockwork Angel!

Like Jace from The Mortal Instruments, Will is a moody, bad boy type. But he'd do anything to protect his family, and save Tessa. Just the way we prefer our heros.

Runner-ups:

1. Peeta in Mockingjay
2. Fang in Fang: A Maximum Ride Novel
3. Daniel in Torment

Best Villain

Alison DiLaurentis from Wanted!

Who knew this pretty face would be capable of murder?! I got so scared after reading Wanted...I didn't suspect anything at all. It still scares me today. Who knows where she is now?

Runner-Ups

1. The Magister in Clockwork Angel
2. Robert Stark in Runaway
3. Kalona in Burned

Best Book Couple

Peeta and Katniss in Mockingjay!

If one of these two died in the end, or if Katniss ended up with Gale, I don't know what I'd do. But, YAY! they got together in the end.

Runner-ups:

1. Will and Tessa in Clockwork Angel
2. Ryan and Sarah in The Unwritten Rule
3. Daniel and Luce in Torment

Best Hottie

Daniel in Torment!

Daniel is SUCH a bad boy and has that angelic look to him as well. Definitely the winner!

Runner-ups:

1. Patch in Crescendo
2. Will in Clockwork Angel
3. Fang in Fang: A Maximum Ride Novel

Best Book to Flick

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1!

I think this is seriously the clear winner. The movie was AMAZING, and it was also one of the most anticipated movies this year. Can't wait for Part 2!

Runner-ups:

1. Alice in Wonderland
2. Eclipse
3. Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging

Best Fantasy Book 2010

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare!

I thought that this was an amazing Fantasy book. From Shadowhunters to Vampires to Warlocks...this book is packed!

Runner-ups:

1. The Necromancer by Michael Scott
2. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
3. Fang: A Maximum Ride Novel by James Patterson

Best Teen/YA Book

Wanted by Sara Shepard!

No one likes a typical romance, or a ditzy book about giggling teenage girls. This book is scary. Deadly Scary. And the secrets? dirtier than ever.

Runner-ups:

1. The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth Scott
2. The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
3. Runaway by Meg Cabot

Best Book Cover 2010

Pegasus by Robin McKinley!

I needed help with this one, cause all of them are such good covers! But I'd have to agree...Pegasus does have a brilliant cover that's very eye-catching!

Runner-ups:

1. Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
2. The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff
3. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Well that was it guys. Hopefully next year you guys can vote!

This years the first Books I Love awards by Confessions of a Readaholic...so till next year guys! until then keep coming back for reviews and more.
